Even Kim Zolciak is disgusted by Chick-fil-A

image The recent rant by Chick-fil-A’s Don Cathy against gay marriage reignited the controversy over the Atlanta company and made it some new enemies: Gay-loving Kim Zolciak. In two recent interviews, Cathy made clear his disgust with LGBT activists who back same-sex marriage. And in the process, he outed the company and its gay-hating ways and contradicted the chicken king’s long-held public position that they aren’t “anti anybody.” So much for duplicity. Chick-fil-A fully embraced the $5 million it funnels to anti-gay groups. Ed Helms didn’t like it. Boston Mayor Thomas Menino didn't like it. Neither did Zolciak, the Blake’s loving (and sometimes woman loving) blonde bombshell from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She loves herself a waffle fry, and the diva with the hunk of a husband wasn’t aware that Chick-fil-A dissed her gays. Until Thursday.

One of my fav spots Chik Fil A is anti-gay!! I'm disgusted by this!!
And when challenged by a fan, Zolciak was having none of it.
Anti gay anything doesnt work for me so STFU! RT @TheMrsDebG @Kimzolciak get it right. They r anti gay marriage, not anti gay #judementalmuch?
Chick-fil-A was trying to have none of it, too. They sheepishly tried to walk back Cathy’s comments with a statement posted to Facebook. Some 56,660 people have liked it and 14,031 comments have been added since it went live on Thursday morning.
The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender. We will continue this tradition in the over 1,600 Restaurants run by independent Owner/Operators. Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.?? Chick-fil-A is a family-owned and family-led company serving the communities in which it operates. From the day Truett Cathy started the company, he began applying biblically-based principles to managing his business. For example, we believe that closing on Sundays, operating debt-free and devoting a percentage of our profits back to our communities are what make us a stronger company and Chick-fil-A family.?? Our mission is simple: to serve great food, provide genuine hospitality and have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.
But what about the gay chickens?
