Dream double play: Cheap tics with benefits

Add this share

The Atlanta Dream opens a four-game home stand on Friday against Washington and the team is offering a double bonus for fans: Purchase a reduced-price ticket and benefit the Hotlanta Softball League.

So if you’re one of the few lesbians left in metro Atlanta who haven’t seen the Dream in action — the team is 2-2 this season — here’s the perfect chance. And if you’re a gay sports fan, it’s a chance to experience the WNBA on the cheap.

Here’s how it works: Purchase a ticket, reduced to $15 from $25, and $3 of that benefits the Hotlanta Softball League, which includes three-dozen teams that play on Sundays through the summer. (Get the link for tickets and special code in the event listing in our community calendar.)

Want a little taste of what to expect at the game on Friday? Check the Project Q Atlanta photo gallery from the June 6 season opener.
