Dragon*Con parade takes geeks to the streets

Gays without a pricey pass know that one of the best free ways to enjoy Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta and let your freak flag fly is to get up and get out to the annual Dragon*Con parade.

Hundreds walked through downtown on Saturday as their sci-fi-fantasy-comic alter egos, and hundreds more gathered to enjoy the spectacle. As usual, the parade brought the costumed partiers out of the convention hotels to collect cheers and grant photo opps.

From the always sexy “300” men, to getting a superhero fix (top photo), and a sci-fi celebrity sighting, the annual event did not disappoint.
