Drag Races hippity hoppity into Easter holigay

Like dogwoods and azaleas, there are some things in gay Atlanta you can count on every spring. Easter Sunday daydrinking during the Armorettes Drag Races came back around right on schedule.

The venue this year changed to the parking lot at Hideaway, but the fun and frolic was much the same as in previous decades. Carnival games like hula-hoop contests met the annual Easter bonnet contest and comical races of drunk queens donning drag.

As always, overseeing it all to benefit the fight against AIDS in Atlanta were the camp drag crazies of the Armorettes troupe.
