Dozens of LGBTQ Atlanta non-profits need you on #GivingTuesday

We know. You’re a giver. You give and give. But there’s always room for a little more fundraising for worthy LGBTQ causes. This time it’s from the comfort of your own computer or mobile device, and it’s possibly even more crucial to the survival of charity organizations this year during the coronavirus pandemic.

From fun fundraisers to gala benefits, queer Atlanta knows how to give. Now end-of-year philanthropy kicks into high gear, and local LGBTQ non-profits join the call on Tuesday’s Georgia Gives Day.

Georgia Center For Nonprofit’s dedicated day for giving combines the efforts of groups throughout the state into one big event in one convenient place—online. You can make that giving queer by choosing the cause that’s closest to your heart.

Some of the most recognizable queer participants are listed below. Just click on their names to go directly to their fundraising pages. Of course, you can donate to any and all of those groups directly and on every day of the year, but the singled-out day does prove fruitful as a reminder what our communities would be like without non-profits organizations.

If you’re able, feeling philanthropic and want some more ideas on where to place your hard-earned support, do an LGBTQ Georgia Gives Day search. Of course, you can also search by name for your favorite charity on the Georgia Gives Day website.
