DJ Luis Perez lays down gay gauntlet at Jungle

When a New York spin master comes to Jungle, it’s steamy. When he specializes in high-intensity vocals, it’s hot. And when he's a gay Atlanta boy returning to his roots, it must be the sizzling-sexy DJ Luis Perez.

Such was the scene on Saturday, when Perez brought his best beats, his NFL bromance buzz, and his sexy back to Jungle. As he promised before the gig, Perez laid down the hot tracks with some extra love for his former hometown.

“I went to college here in Atlanta and spent my early 20's here,” he told us in advance of the Jungle set. “Atlanta feels like home to me. It's where I came out and where I made most of my friends.”

A rowdy night hopefully kept up the good impression. It definitely set the standard for dance-hall Saturdays in gay Atlanta. Hey, gay DJs! Consider the gay gauntlet thrown down.
