You know you have a penchant for fab pads when we have to nose around when you move just to soak in more design and accessory goodness. Welcome to this guy's second Midtown Fabulous home.
You may remember the AJC's first ramble through a highrise owned by Atlanta guy Jordan McAuley (top photo). We ogled his awesome balcony views and modern twists then, and we're back for more in his new place. We also answer your most burning question from last time: Did he keep the faux deer heads we couldn't say enough about?
We'll find out. But first and foremost, the new condo is all about that lounge in the background, McAuley tells AJC in a recent Private Quarters feature.
Jordan McAuley's lounge in his Midtown condo features a bar cart from Z Gallerie, artwork, various seating, plenty of gold accents and photography magazines and books. “No matter where I move, I have to have one room where it's like a fun lounge,” he said. “You can dim the light and have a cocktail.”
Other features in the home keep McAuley's mix of modern art, contemporary design and cowboy chic – those rawhide leather barstools, girl! – with personal touches that make it homey.
It's part inspiration, part connections and part professional help, the AJC notes.
He purchased the two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,432-square-foot condo in 2013 and worked with designer Krystee Manifold Spencer on Gidding&Spencer on features such as the wallcoverings.
