Court kings in Round 4 of ‘Hardwood’

From tennis to cricket and Formula 1 racing, there are jocks to be viewed and voted on. It’s Round 4 of “The King of the Hardwood” competition and this time, tennis takes center court. Mixed in, though, are athletes from a few other sports, including Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton (top photo).

But hurry, Round 4 of the competition closes soon and then we’re on to baseball.roddick_andy_blog.jpg

Here’s how it works: Our host Layne has pre-selected groups of athletes from eight areas – swimming and diving, track and field, hockey and Australian football, tennis, baseball, soccer, pro football and rugby. Every few days, there’s a new qualifying round. Vote for your favorites, check the running vote tallies on his blog and look for the final round of 64 in mid-March to coincide with the selections for the NCAA basketball tournament.

In addition to Hamilton, my other favorite this round is a classic: Andy Roddick (right).
