The touching non-denominational event unfolded in a banquet room at the W Atlanta Midtown. While the shift to an indoor event was a change from recent years of holding it outdoors at Piedmont Park, hosting the event at the Midtown hotel returned it to its home of several years ago. The “come-as-you-are” atmosphere meant a diverse collection of outfits, from traditional tuxedos and gowns to business casual and even the more casual tank tops. But one tradition stayed put: The couples noshed on wedding cake after the ceremony.
