A pool full of shirtless guys, some campy drag sideshows and plenty of alcohol beat the heat at Sunday’s pool party fundraiser. The Water Fireworks Pool Party is just the latest in dozens of fundraisers from this year’s Atlanta Cotillion debutante class. You know, the guys who will take on an alter ego alias and don glamour drag and at September’s Cotillion Ball benefiting AID Atlanta. Whoever raises the most cash throughout the months-long fundraising season wins the title of Atlanta Cotillion Queen. Sunday’s party featured Cotillion’s winning Von Seco legacy. Debutante Jacqueline D’Bouvier Von Seco (JD Kellum) added coin to his coffers with a cover charge to the event and with support from 2010 Cotillion Queen Ava Von Seco and 2009 Queen Lady Michel’le VonSeco. Cotillion’s fundraising season is kicking into high gear for summer. Most recently, the Egg-stravaganza (view photos) raised cash over Memorial Day Weekend as part of a long line of benefits that began in April. Just two of the events coming up on the debs’ calendar are Gigi’s Pinkberry Bash on Thursday, June 9, and Miss Mona's Cotillion Cocktails, Crooning & Catwalk on July 30. Photos by Sher Pruitt
