CNN anchor Don Lemon, gay media darling and Atlanta Pride’s unlikely parade grand marshal, wants to be a baby daddy. But only if the little squawker comes with a nanny.
Guess he’s figured out that whole marriage dilemma with partner Ben Tinker.
Lemon’s been the focus of much press lately, thanks to his coming out, a tour with an Atlanta stop (photo) to promote his new book “Transparent” and becoming the most visible out gay news personality next to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. That he’s based in Atlanta doesn’t hurt, either.
So back to the babies.
Since coming out some months ago, Lemon has faced questions from fans and media alike. He was stumped last month when pushed on getting hitched to Tinker from a pesky reporter.
But when pressed this week by Six Pack, he was ready.
“I've been in a 4-year relationship. I haven't thought about this question in probably 25 years or more when I came to terms with who I was. I think I will adopt a kid, but a nanny has to come with a kid,” Lemon says in the interview.
He could just adopt the E*Trade baby. That kid’s got TV experience, knows his way around social media and isn’t afraid to speak his mind. They’d make quite a pairing.
