Christmas burped all over bingo Wednesday night as Pets Are Loving Support hosted its monthly fundraiser — aptly titled “Hard Candy Christmas” for December.
With apologies to Dolly Parton, signs of Christmas were all over the packed crowd at Jungle, from candy cane earrings to blinking sweaters. Drag queens donned their holiday best and the stage included a pig with holiday lights. Take that, Macy’s and your pink pig.
Even hostess Bubba D. Licious (second photo) took the theme to heart – or at least her bosom. The popular drag personality wore a “Naughty or Nice” t-shirt covering her larger-than-usual jugs. Let’s not even discuss the tree skirt she wore as a shawl.
Up next for PALS: Doggies on the Catwalk, a fashionable fundraiser that brings local celebs together with their pooches to strut down the runway offering fashions from Grady High School students. It’s set for Jan. 14. Last year’s event raised thousands for the non-profit.
