Cheers! Vote Project Q into ‘Best of Gay Atlanta’

We are happy to be among the LGBT finalists nominated in the GA Voice’s annual reader poll on all that’s gay and good in Atlanta. Now we humbly—OK shamelessly—seek your vote again this year.

Like they say, it’s an honor just to be nominated. But come on, everyone knows it’s more fun to win Atlanta’s Best Gay Website/Blog for the fifth time and get our invite to the GA Voice’s community victory party in July. Cheers to that!

That’s where you come in. We’d appreciate your vote here daily along with your other favorites in a slew of categories for people, businesses and organizations. You can vote in as many or as few categories as you choose, and as often as you like.

Since campaigns from the contest finalists range from all-out-blitz to a dignified mum’s-the-word, we find ourselves somewhere in the middle. If your inboxes, Facebook and Twitter feeds are flooded from some finalists, you know how far the lobbying can go. We’ll ask nicely here and leave it in your capable hands.

Well, almost. A little pitch first. Like any good episode of “The Biggest Loser” or “Survivor,” we plead our case to keep us on the Best of Atlanta island. Who loves ya? We do. We also love being a course in your media diet, updated every single day with a mix of news, buzz, photo galleries, our Gay Agenda calendar of local weekend events, nightlife, and the occasional local hunk. Show us some love back, and we’ll be your grateful, not-so humble servants.
