Bunnies raffle their baskets at Guava Lamp

With their big event just two weeks away, Bunnies on the Bayou continued the build up on Sunday with some bulging baskets, tasty crawfish and gay Houston favorite London Adour.

The Bunnies Basket Bash unfolded at Guava Lamp with the help of DJ Johnny Moreno. It's the annual event that offers overflowing baskets up for raffle to help Bunnies raise funds, which they turn over to a long list of beneficiaries that includes AIDS Foundation Houston, AssistHers, Bering Omega, Homeless Gay Kids Houston, Houston Gaymers, Houston Pride Band, Human Rights Campaign, Lesbian Health Initiative and Montrose Center.

Like Snow Bunnies in January, the Basket Bash is a big tease for the main event. The 37th Annual Bunnies on the Bayou is March 27 at Fish Plaza at Wortham Center.
