Bucks tackle basics with Rugby 101 [photos]

imageWith the start of their six-game fall season just a few weeks away, the Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club took to the pitch Saturday for its Rugby 101 clinic.

The skills session serves as a primer for the club’s new recruits and a pre-season refresher for veterans.

The Bucks open the season with a home match against Macon Love on Sept. 25 and their annual Ruck-A-Buck Pride tournament on Oct. 9. On Oct. 23, it’s a charity match against cross-town rival High Country and Oct. 30 brings the club’s first road trip when they play in a Dallas tournament. On Nov. 6, it’s a match versus North Cobb and the season ending away match against Nashville on Nov. 20.
