Brut muscles its dance party into gay Atlanta

The sexy fun dance party grind that is Brut brought its distinctive beats to Atlanta on Sunday during a special holiday weekend debut at Heretic.

The duo behind it – Dan Darlington and Peter Napoli – promised gay Atlanta an event that would “explode into dance.” “My music makes you dance with your hips. It is more of a grind,” Darlington teased in an interview with Project Q Atlanta.

And Brut – which started in New York in 2013 and has since danced its way to Chicago, L.A. and more – did just that. The event also raised money for Ready 4 Hope, which in turn donates its cash to HIV charities.
