Boys, booze, brunch start big new gay tradition

Politicians stumped, gays gobbled and boyfriends Nick Pasquariello and Alex James reigned proudly over gay Atlanta’s newest fundraiser during the first-ever Respect The Brunch on Sunday at Ten.

Just as the couple promised us, specialty eggs landed on busy tables to benefit Lost N Found Youth. The restaurant reports that about 150 people attended the inaugural event, which was part of a heartfelt LNF anniversary weekend to help Atlanta’s LGBT homeless youth. Events included a toe-licking good time at a special edition of the Armorettes show at Burkhart's.

Pasquariello and James (above, left-right) welcomed guests to the event that brought Atlanta City Council candidate Mary Norwood together with her gays again as part of a months-long gay bar tour prior to Tuesday’s election.

UPDATE | Organizer say the event raised $600 for Lost N Found.
