Blake’s kicks off Stonewall Month with a crowd

June 1 marked 50 years to the month since the Stonewall Riots sparked the modern queer civil rights movement, and LGBTQ Atlanta rang it in with cocktails at Blake’s on the Park.

The popular Midtown bar was busy as always with people eager to make the most of their weekend.

Just like these folks were last June. Or these people getting their weekend started early. And you know an Atlanta Pride crowd is always ready for it. Ditto a Halloween crowd. Sometimes local politicians even drop by. And odds are some of them took Lyft to get there.
