Atlanta City Council candidate Mary Norwood showed some love for the Blake's gays on Halloween and they loved her back. The bar endorsed Norwood as she attempts to win back her old seat.
Norwood did gay Halloween last Thursday, stopping in at Bulldogs before pulling up bar stool at Blake's to help judge its costume contest. On Monday, the bar urged its fans to vote for Norwood. The pro-gay candidate is trying to oust Aaron Watson, another pro-gay candidate, from the Post 2 At-Large seat.
Tuesday, Nov 5 is election day.

Our friend, MARY NORWOOD, is running for City Council, Post 2.
Make sure you vote MARY, Mary.
Norwood has a mixed record when it comes to bar hours. As a City Council member in 2003, Norwood voted in favor of the successful effort to change last call from 4 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. In her 2009 mayoral bid, she backed returning to a 4 a.m. last call with several qualifications.
Shhh. Don't tell Blake's that Norwood did gay brunch on Sunday at Ten Atlanta.
