Bill Maher finds gay superheroes on Project Q

Comedian Bill Maher discovered gay superheroes, thanks to Project Q, flirted with them on his HBO show and even came up with a few of his own. Meet Ironic Man, Ex-Men and Green Horndog.

Maher offered the riff during his “Real Time With Bill Maher” on Friday. About half-way through his hour-long TV show, he used a screen capture from a Project Q post on June 5 to introduce a quick piece on gay superheroes.

We're flattered and better yet, amused by the gay superheroes Maher offers up in the segment above. They include the lesbian 14 Cats Woman and Captain American Apparel, whose superpower is modeling. There's even the Ex-Men who are, you guessed it, trans caped crusaders.

Let us know if you need more, Bill. We know plenty in Atlanta. Some gay Sanatas in Speedos, too.
