Big flavored Houston cook Willie Mike served big camp on “MasterChef” this week, but also baked the tastiest red velvet cake to save himself from elimination. Along the way, he also delivered the show's gayest moments.
During Monday's “American Diner” challenge, he offered sassy quips, gayful glees and otherwise had us cheering him gaily forward in an episode that saw him and his Blue Team falter. But he nailed the Mystery Box Challenge, proving again that he's got a big heart and a talent for tasty cakes.
The 25-year-old Mike may (or may not) be gay, but the church music director enjoys a good “MasterChef” viewing party with gay Houston couple Chris Perez and his partner Ace Martinez, some down time at gay country bar Neon Boots and the handle Shaun Heretoplease Mike on Facebook. And honey, he can sing, too.
