Big stars to little, Atlanta Pride sets its lineup

Sure, Atlanta already hosted this Pride, that Pride and the other Pride. Savannah even got in on the rainbow action. But there’s one more to come and Atlanta Pride unveiled the remainder of its big gay entertainment lineup for next month's event. Pop, hip-hop, dance and a sexy shirtless guy who plays the guitar. We’ve already dished the details on Pride headliners Amy Ray, Kristine W, Rita Ora and our partnership with David magazine to deliver Andy Bell. On Tuesday, festival organizers let loose the full entertainment card for Atlanta Pride, which is set for Oct. 13-14. There’s the beloved and expected (Starlight Cabaret), the retreads (Demize, Michel Jon’s Band, Literary Event) and the local faves (Sexual Side Effects (top photo), Kat Graham). That shirtless gay? It’s New York acoustic crooner Justin Utley (second photo). And diva Crystal Waters joins the mix for a very danceable Saturday evening. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to bring some of our community’s most talented artists as well as nationally recognized Grammy-winning names to the Pride stage for 2012,” Atlanta Pride Board Chair Glen Paul Freedman says in a prepare statement. “People often ask how we choose our entertainment. We do our best to offer a little something for everyone over the course of the weekend. We certainly think we have accomplished that this year as the line up includes everything from pop and hip-hop to dance and country.” Need to warm up to Pride? There's a series of events for that, too. The full entertainment schedule from the Atlanta Pride Committee:
