With strippers that do comedy, leathermen, flying tortillas and some simulated balloon sex, the volunteers behind the Big Gay Game Show celebrated two years of making laughs and money to benefit an LGBT charity on Wednesday.
The monthly variety show riffs on TV game shows of the past to help raise funds to support Lost N Found Youth, which cares for homeless LGBT teens in Atlanta. Big Gay Game Show kicked off in April 2012 with drag queens, go-go boys and leather aficionados and gave us seven signs gay Atlanta strippers like to hold and charity ass play.
On Wednesday at Jungle, the show celebrated like it started: fun with a side of sexy. A pair of strippers from Bliss did a comedy routine –in their briefs, of course – while some well-placed balloons helped along a game that included simulated sex and tickets to see “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at Plaza Theatre. A version of “Minute to Win It” had players in swim flippers attempt to launch tortillas to a plate on their head. “Match Game” offered up characters and titleholders, including J.P. Paquette who was named Mr. Atlanta Eagle on Saturday.
