One of the busiest weekends of Atlanta’s LGBTQ calendar lands with enough event options to fill several weekends. The Queer Agenda helps you sort it out and plan your attack.

Friday, June 15

Peach Party Weekend (top photo). GA Boy’s annual dance party series brings international DJs to multiple bars all weekend. The party gets going with DJ Nina Flowers Kickoff Party @ Heretic, 10 p.m., plus the Peach Party After Hours with DJ Deanne @ BJ Roosters, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m. Keep scrolling for Saturday and Sunday, and find more details in Q magazine’s summer preview.

The Misandrists. Out director Bruce LaBruce’s tale of intrigue about the feminist Female Liberation Army and a secret man in their basement lands @ Plaza Atlanta, all week.

Equality Advocates for Matthew. Join this fundraiser to support Matthew Wilson’s campaign for a Georgia House seat. RSVP and contribute to attend @ Midtown Residence. Wilson talked to Q as just one of Georgia’s queer candidates.

Mamma Mia! An Aurora Theatre staging of the Abba-riffic musical @ Georgia Tech Ferst Center, 8 p.m. Runs through June 24.

The Other Show. Edie Cheezburger and her kooky queens work Atlanta’s newest gay bar @ Midtown Tavern, 9:30 p.m.

Queer Bait. Hang with the cool kids in East Atlanta @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Stanley’s Flashback. DJs Ron Pullman and Khiko Venable get the weekend going @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Drrty Divas. Boys, booze, beats and Atlanta's hottest queens hosted by Destiny Brooks @ Ten, 10 p.m. 

Celestial Friday. Celeste Holmes hosts the show “where the stars come out” and puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

Ladies Night. Get your LGBTQ weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.


Saturday, June 16

Peach Party Weekend. GA Boy’s annual dance party series brings international DJs to multiple bars all weekend. Atlanta Pride Run/Walk. Lace up and go for the annual LGBTQ fun run race @ Piedmont Park, 8 a.m.

Pull for Pride. Deadlift contest for all gender identities and sexual orientations with flights for all experience levels @ AK Crossfit, 10 a.m.

#Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of the party as the sun drops @ Mary’s, 2:30 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during the regularly scheduled shenanigans, 9 p.m.

Hotlanta Volleyball Beer Bust. Bottomless brews with gay jocks @ Ten, 3 p.m.

Evening for Equality. Join the annual gala of LGBTQ Movement victories and goals with Georgia Equality @ InterContinental Buckhead, 6 p.m.

Glitz & Glam with Charlie Brown. The self-titled Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

Ladies of the League. The gay flag football league puts its jocks in frocks to celebrate the end of their season @ The Deep End, 6 p.m.

FTK Wacky Hat Party. The gays of For The Kid in All of Us don silly chapeaus to benefit their Toy Party and Backpack in the Park events. Join them @ Piedmont Park Visitor’s Center, 6:30 p.m.

Rainbow Pub Crawl. Put on your rainbow gear for drink specials and go round-robin style to hit 11 venues, starting @ My Sister’s Room, 7 p.m.

Pride Concerto. Atlanta Freedom Bands 25th anniversary concert, including best selections from their history and a world premiere piece by Rossano Galante @ The Galloway School, 8 p.m.

Pop Karaoke with Princess Charles. Sing your heart out with your host plus DJ Suzanne @ Midtown Tavern, 9 p.m.

Fantasy Girls. The queens you love doing what you love cabaret style @ Ten, 9 p.m.

Latin Saturday. Ahora comenzamos el verano. ¡Empezamos una nueva fiesta @ Mixx, 9 p.m.

DJ Rob Moore kicks Saturday into high gear @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

After Hours. Soulful house music by resident DJs presented by Culmination Productions keeps you partying as late as you want @ Tokyo Valentino, 2 a.m.


Sunday, June 17

Hotlanta Softball League Commissioners Cup. The pitchers and catchers of the gay league gather to play @ Johnson Park, 9 a.m. Extra Innings Beer Bust follows @ The Hideaway, 4 p.m.

Gospel Brunch. Armorette Priscilla O'Kneel stages the singing queens while you eat from an amazing smorgasbord of serving stations @ Midtown Moon, 11 a.m.

Sporty Sunday Funday. All the games and matches on the screens, and all the guys to watch it with @ Woofs, 12 noon.

Drag Brunch Theatre. The Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Heifer Review. Drag queens act up while you eat on the patio @ Cowtippers, 1 p.m.

Midtown Rouge. First it’s High Energy and DJ Bill Berdeaux, 1 p.m., then the legendary Sunday drag show kicks off with an all-star cast including Raquell Lorde @ Blake's, 8:30 p.m.

Trois Summer. Women who love women who love DJs who love drink specials all summer @ My Sister’s Room, 2 p.m.

Madams, Marys & Mimosas serves drag, brunch and drink specials @ Ten Atlanta, 1 p.m. Sit. Stay. The Sunday Funday weekly tradition of outdoor dudes, DJs and drinks with the Patio Beach Ball Party with DJ Kraax, 4 p.m.

Sunday Sabbath. Celeste Holmes stages the queens for your weekend wrap party @ Midtown Tavern, 6 p.m.

Armorettes. The camp drag crazies with the hearts of gold against AIDS are in their 40th year of weekly shows, now in a new home bar @ Midtown Moon, 8 p.m.

Tossed Salad. The magic and madness masterminded by Brigitte Bidet and her left-of-center queens goes all in @ My Sister’s Room, 9:30 p.m.

After Hours. Urban Hip Hop all night by resident DJs, plus 15 dancers and three levels to party presented by Culmination Productions keeps you partying as late as you want @ Tokyo Valentino, 11 p.m.
