Don your gay apparel, people. You are go for the “most wonderful time of the year.” Love it or lump it with LGBT events to suit every last naughty Scrooge or nice Santa in the queer village.

Friday, Dec. 4

Viernes Noche Latina (top photo) offers up two-steppin’ and line-dancin’ in the legendary Esquire Ballroom @ Neon Boots, 9 p.m.

Flex Friday. The hot guys and drag queens that you love in the show bar you love even more, this week with a kinky gear theme you don’t want to miss @ F Bar, 8 p.m. Get there early for Belevedere Happy Hour, 5 p.m.

Stripper Circus. The weekly theme night hits hard with hot men, performers and surprises @ South Beach, 9 p.m.

Ripcord Rewind. Bears, Cubs, Daddy, Chaser, Twink, Leather, Levis and Masculine Men. Do it up to the mix-tape music of the 1980s @ Ripcord, 9 p.m.

Latin Ladies Night with DJ Kittie. Get with Houston’s lesbian crowd (and their guy friends) up in the Heights @ Pearl Bar, 10 p.m.

Bright Lights Friday Nights. DJ beats and shower boys get you all wet to kick off your weekend @ Meteor, 9 p.m.

Fantasy Friday. Tanya Hyde leads the drag cast @ TC’s Showbar, 11 p.m.

Fetish Friday. If it turns your crank, they’re doing it @ Eagle Houston, 4 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Boys and Men. You know you love it @ JR’s and Mining Company’s Cockfight.

Dance Your Booty Off and get moving on the floor @ Blur, 10 p.m.

Beats, beers and boys puts the party in your pocket and the gay in your Friday @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, all day.

 

 

Saturday, Dec. 5

Houston Hurricanes League Playoffs (middle photo). The teams of the gay flag football league face off to wrap their weekly fall ball season @ Houston Sportsplex, 9 a.m. They go hard.

Lambda NextGen Volunteer Day. Help the garden grow with these LGBTs @ Hermann Park Centennial Gardens, 9 a.m. It’s a cool group.

Manor Christmas Party. Awesome cars and your most festive dress-to-impress cocktail attire collide in the venue perfect for this annual LGBT holiday fandango @ The Manor, 5:30 p.m.

HIV & Aging Coalition Christmas Party. A ‘50s theme with door prizes and fun @ Montrose Center, 7 p.m.

Morabito Holiday Bash. The legendary NYC DJ returns to the scene of her last slaying with all the beats for her Houston fans. Bring a toy for the kids of the local MCC and get ready to party @ Eagle, 9 p.m.

DJ-driven Dance Party. Get up, get out and get on down with the guys and gals who always bring you a dancey Saturday night, part of the Pacific Street Block Party Specials @ South Beach, 9 p.m.

FXperience with DJ Tad Dvorak. And drag. And go-go boys. Join the crowd @ F Bar, 9 p.m. 

Country Dance Before there was Gilley’s, there was the Esquire Ballroom. Now the legendary space is where your gay boots meet the beat @ Neon Boots, 9 p.m.

Shake Up Saturday. This party bar brings karaoke and more to the scene. You never know what you’re gonna get @ Crocker Bar, 9 p.m.

Levi-Leather Beats. The music and the guys are pumping @ Ripcord, 9 p.m.

Carnival Saturday. The Shower Boys leave a wet spot on your weekend with a circus theme and DJ beats to move your feets @ Meteor, 9 p.m.

Sound Factory Saturday. One, two, you know what to do @ Guava Lamp, 9 p.m.

Ladies & Gents. The lesbians know what’s up for all the gay women and their male friends @ Pearl Bar, 10 p.m.

Party time. Excellent. Slip into something that will warm your gay heart @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, all day.

DJ beats get you moving on the dance floor @ Blur, 10 p.m.

Drag divas never really end when it’s cheap drinks and Showgurlz @ TC’s Showbar, 11 p.m.

Scruffy Saturday. Cruise on over with DJ beats and hot male dancers @ Mining Company, 9 p.m.

Fruit loop. No weekend is complete without a stop in for a few laps around the loop and a drink or five while eyeing the go-go boys @ JR’s, all day.

 

Sunday, Dec. 6

Kindred Spirits Holiday Sing-a-long (bottom photo). Life is a cabaret, old chum, and this longtime local LGBT group is going to sing like it during this seasonal soirree. Snacks and awesome raffle items to boot @ Meteor, 5 p.m.

Dangerous Disco. Thumping beats and high spirits, and you know some Texans football. Because JJ.Don’t stop ‘til you get enough @ Eagle Houston, 12 noon – 2 a.m. It’s always a blast.

Retox Sunday knows what you need, and you’re going to get it, 6 p.m. And you know later if it’s Sunday, it’s F Latin Divas, 10 p.m.

Sunday Showtunes puts a rough-and-ready, leather-Levis spin on your usual gay musicals fascination @ Ripcord, 3 p.m.

Sunday Lounge. Kick back and do the Sunday do: As little as possible and look good doing it @ Guava Lamp, 10 p.m. Lounge doors for day drinking at 4 p.m.

Sunday Fun Day. Whether you go for the karaoke, the rowdy patrons or what some call the best Sunday Funday in town, get down @ Crocker Bar, 12:30 p.m.

Sunday Funday Crawfish parties until you absolutely have to go home and start your workweek. Crawfish and drink specials @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, 12 noon – 9 p.m.

Sunday Fun Day Drag Show with Kofi and the girls and all of Houston’s ready-to-party gay boys @ JR’s. All day bar, evening drag.

All Star Sunday. Alexis Nicole Whitney corrals the queens and closes out your weekend with a showstopper that you have to see to believe @ TC’s Showbar, 11 p.m.

Hot Mess Sunday with Deejay Pollo and Ricky Lee and Houston’s hottest Spanish-English video remix set @ Blur, 10:30 p.m.

Men At Work with trash disco by DJ Danny G and drink specials @ Mining Company, all day.
