Seasons Greetings from a holly jolly list of made-to-order LGBT Houston events. Friday through Sunday, these parties and performances make the season bright and put the gay in your day.

Friday, Dec. 12

Flex Friday with Seth Fornea (top photo) gets your motor running with hot boys, drag and other surprises like half-price happy hour. This week, the ginger god model-turned-porn-star hits the stage with muscles to spare @ F Bar, 8 p.m.

Curtis Braly Christmas Spectacular. The hometown boy hits the stage to sing you into Winter Wonderland with his holiday dinner theater show @ Neon Boots, 7 p.m. Stick around after the show to scoot your boots.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Time to get tacky for cash and prizes. Contest runway show for the worst and most creative, plus all the hideous holiday couture you can handle @ Meteor, 9 p.m. First on deck, the Montrose Softball League Holiday Social, 7 p.m.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Nothing is more seasonally fabulous than the Rockettes. The high-kicking holiday show opens and performs daily through Dec. 28 @ Theatre Under the Stars, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Modern Men 80s Night. Bears, Cubs, Daddy, Chaser, Twink, Leather, Levis and Masculine Men. Do it up to the mix-tape music of the ‘80s @ Ripcord, 9 p.m.

Boys and Men. You know you love it @ JR’s and Mining Company’s Cockfight.

Kissin’ Country Cousins. It’s always time for two-steppin’ and line-dancin’ in the legendary Esquire Ballroom @ Neon Boots. Dance lessons 7:30 p.m., Boot scootin’, 9 p.m. 

Shower Boys never let you down and always get your weekend started right @ Meteor, 10 p.m.

Fetish Friday. If it turns your crank, they’re doing it @ Eagle Houston, 4 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Lounge it! You know what’s up. Happy hour to the wee hours @ Guava Lamp, 9 p.m. This week, “On the Couch” premieres with your hostess/moistest Roxanne Collins at this special viewing party, 10 p.m.

Dance Your Ass Off and get moving on the floor @ Blur, 10 p.m.

Beats, beers and boys puts the party in your pocket and the gay in your Friday @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, all day.

 

Saturday, Dec. 13

Roxxxy Andrews (middle photo). The “RuPaul’s” girl twists and shouts to let you know what it’s alla bout during Houston’s best gay dance party @ South Beach, 9 p.m.

“The Normal Heart.” The HBO special heard round the world gets an encore screening during SASS (Second Saturday Afternoon Screening) @ Montrose Center, 4:30 p.m.

HIV + Aging Christmas Party. Poz guys over 50 do dinner, music and entertainment. Free with e-mail invitation via [email protected] Montrose Center, 5 p.m.

DJ Stonebridge Holiday Bash. The Grammy nominated spinmeister from Sweden hits the decks while you bring toys for MCC holiday drive @ Eagle Houston, 9 p.m.

F Experience. You always wanted to do it with DJ Tad Dvorak. With drag. And go-go boys. Join the crowd @ F Bar, 9 p.m.

Sound Factory Saturday. One, two, you know what to do @ Guava Lamp, 9 p.m.

Country Dance. Before there was Gilley’s, there was the Esquire Ballroom. Now the legendary space is where your gay-ass boots meet the beat @ Neon Ballroom, 9 p.m.

Leather-Levi Party. Rough and rugged are the men and your fantasies @ Eagle Houston, 12 noon – 2 a.m.

Party time. Excellent. Slip into something that will warm your gay heart @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, all day.

Shower Boys leave a wet spot on your Saturday @ Meteor, 9 p.m.

DJ beats get you moving on the dance floor @ Blur, 10 p.m.

Drag divas never really end when it’s cheap drinks and Showgurlz @ TC’s Showbar, 11 p.m.

Scruffy Saturday. Cruise on over with DJ beats and hot male dancers @ Mining Company, 9 p.m.

Fruit loop. No weekend is complete without a stop in for a few laps around the loop and a drink or five while eyeing the go-go boys @ JR’s, all day.

 

Sunday, Dec. 14

PWA Holiday Charities' “Christmas Posada at Mi Casa.” An' Marie Gilland Regina Dane host this entertainment extravaganza to benefit a beloved charity. $125 for a table of four @ Neon Boots, 6 p.m. Before that, mosey on over for Kickback Sunday afternoon delight, 12 noon. 

Sunday Fun Day Drag Show (bottom photo) with Kofi and the girls and all of Houston’s ready-to-party gay boys @ JR’s. All day bar, evening drag.

Legends give it to you until you’ve had enough and then give it to you again. When they say legends, they mean it. Salute to Naomi Sims, Tasha Kohl, Donna Day, and Hot Chocolate @ Meteor, 8:30 p.m.

Retox Sunday and shut down the weekend. These queens know what you need, and you’re going to get it @ F Bar, 6 p.m.

Bust Sundays. It’s you and your brew crew for the cheapest vodka and draft you’ll find. Don’t let the weekend getaway without one more round @ Ripcord, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Dangerous Disco. Thumping beats and the Texans on TV. Don’t stop ‘til you get enough @ Eagle Houston, 12 noon – 2 a.m. 

Sunday Funday parties hard until you absolutely have to go home and start your workweek @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, 12 noon.

Beer Bust Sundays fill you with all you can take @ Ripcord, all day.

Sunday Fun Day Karaoke with a host that’s as entertaining as the singers @ Guava Lamp, 10 p.m. Lounge doors for day drinking at 4 p.m.

Hot Mess Sunday with Deejay Pollo and Ricky Lee and Houston’s hottest Spanish-English video remix set @ Blur, 10:30 p.m.

Men At Work with trash disco by DJ Danny G and drink specials @ Mining Company, all day.
