Best gay things to do in Houston this weekend

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. If you’re not checking your clothes at the door, you’re honoring Janet Jackson in drag. If you’re not at a play, you’re doing shirtless karaoke. Just another weekend of awesome gay Houston events.

Friday, Aug. 1

“Fallen Angels” puts all of Noel Coward’s closeted angst, dry wit, drama-queen alcoholism and giggly man-hungriness on stage in the form of two women whose ex lover returns when their husbands are out. When the cat’s away @ Main Street Theater, 8 p.m. Runs through Aug. 3
