Mint Julep 2014. This event was created 12 years ago by Sonna Alton and Keith Nappier to support Legacy Community Health’s HIV/AIDS services. The fundraising tradition continues to this day, with an afternoon of great entertainment, including the crowning of givers Mr., Ms. and Miss Mint Julep @ Limelight, 2 p.m.
Houston’s Best Dance Party. You know what’s up, and you know where it’s at. Get in on it @ South Beach, 9 p.m.
“Breaking AIDS” Underwear Show. The models strip down, and the queens play host to this runway stomp to raise money and awareness for HousingWorks.org @ Guava Lamp, 9 p.m.
Party time. Excellent. Slip into something that will warm your gay heart @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, all day.
Dance it out. Saturday night beats for your nerves and a midnight performance showcase @ F Bar, 9 p.m.
