Friday, July 29

Powder Room. The “Pussy on Fire” edition of the semi-regular Wussy Mag party returns with its femme-positive vibe and genderfuck edge. This time, queer rapper Mister Wallace (top photo) headlines @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Boys Room. Come hang out with the cool kids @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Swank. Cocktails for the ladies with Anna and the girls @ 10th & Piedmont, 9 p.m.

The Other Show. Come to the unique weekly drag cabaret with an eclectic cast and special guests that always pack a surprise @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m

Deadly Vixens puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 9 p.m.

Femme Fatale puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Friday Night Dance Party. Another weekly way to kick off your weekend just hit 10th Street. See what you can get into @ G’s, 10 p.m.

Ladies Lounge. Get your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Crush Friday turns up the volume on its weekly gay Latin party with stage shows and dancing into the wee hours @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.


Saturday, July 30

Pushups for PALS. Gay guys drop and give as many as they can in this contest benefiting Pets Are Loving Support sponsored by the gay-owned Fit Studio with Kevin DeLoach (middle photo). They do pushups, you watch @ Woofs, 1 p.m.

Company. The musical that changed musicals forever, by gay composer Stephen Sondheim, opens its run @ Actor’s Express, 8 p.m. Runs through Sept. 4.

BS & Fairytales Marriage Seminar. Couples can learn what it really takes to make a marriage work @ Rush Center, 10:30 a.m.

#Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of tonight’s party @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during regularly schedule shenanigans, 9 p.m.

Atlanta Titans Beer Bust. A post-season wrap for the HSL team that’s almost as much into bottomless brews as they are softball @ Burkhart’s, 4 p.m. Designate a driver and head over to the Sharks Sendoff Party @ Heretic, 7 p.m. as that team heads to the Gay Softball World Series.

Queer History Live. Gay comic Ian Aber hosts other queer comedians, each with a different LGBT history topic. Laugh and learn as part of Hotlanta Comedy Fest @ 368 Ponce, 8:30 p.m.

Early Country-Late Night Dance. The boot-scootin kicks things off @ Heretic, 8 p.m. The Blackout/Retro Disco Party closes things out, 12:30 a.m.

DJ Moose. This NYC spin doctor takes you by the horns @ Jungle, 10:30 p.m. Get there early for Fantasy Girls, 9 p.m.

Kinked. Southeast Black & Blue runs the floor, DJ Chris Kind runs the decks, and you run a late night @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Synergy turns up the volume on Saturday night and blows your ever-loving mind with glamazons working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam with Charlie Brown. The self-titled Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Edie Cheezburger, a cast of premiere queens and special guests @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

DJ Stan Jackson All Nighter. Don’t stop ‘til you get enough. Dance until you need sunglasses to leave @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.


Sunday, July 31

Sunday Funday (bottom photo) wraps your weekend just the way you like it: with all your gays plus DJs Rob Reum and Robert Ansley @ Ten Atlanta, 5 p.m. – midnight.

PrEP U: Sports Gear Party. Wear your athletic fetish and enjoy bottomless beer, drink specials, pudding shots, raffles and DJ Calvin. That’s what you get when you hang with the sex-positive Team Friendly @ Atalnta Eagle, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Drag Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Arsenal World Series Beer Bust. Join this Hotlanta Softball League team as it raises funds for its Gay Softball World Series journey. Bottoms up @ Woofs, 4 p.m.

J Tyler Single Release Party. Get down to the sound of the local gay rapper and his debut single “Live Out Loud” @ Blake’s, 6:30 p.m. It’s a pre-party for Midtown Rouge, the Sunday drag show with an all-star cast, 8 p.m.

Armorettes: We Are Family. Atlanta’s camp drag crazies against HIV do their weekly good in the gayborhood @ Burkhart’s, 7:30 p.m.

CherryBomb. Wild Cherry Sucret returns to the weekly stage for “something hip and different,” including suprises each week @ Jungle, 8 p.m.

Tossed Salad. The magic and madness masterminded by Brigitte Bidet and her left-of-center queens @ Burkhart’s, 9:30 p.m.
