You’d think that two huge gay all-weekend festivals and one of LGBT Atlanta’s most highly anticipated annual events would be enough. Pish. Throw in sports, parties and shows. Now that's a chock-full gAy-TL weekend.

Friday, May 2
OutlantaCon (top photo) returns with a weekend full of all the queer geek goodness that you can handle. Panels, gaming, cosplay, parties, art, performances and more say, “Hey, we love sci-fi, fantasy and gaming too!” @ Atlanta Marriott Century Center, through Sunday.

Decatur Women’s Softball fields teams of Atlanta’s lesbians who pitch, catch and run the bases @ Kelley C. Cofer Park, Tucker, 6:30 p.m.

Cinco De Mayo Outdoor Music Fest kicks off a whole weekend of activities at the gay-owned, gay-loved Cheshire party spot that everyone looks to for Cinco fun. Tonight, get with DJs, drink specials, giveaways and great food @ Las Margaritas, 5 p.m., DJ starts 8 p.m. Girl, it’s fiesta fiesta fiesta each day leading to Monday Mayo Main Event Madness with Phoenix, Mariah, Violet, Allysa and Sofia. Here are 23 gay ways to make it last all weekend.

Tim Sisk Memorial remembers the man behind Tim’s 21 blackjack. Friends honor the memory of the gay bar mainstay @ Burkhart’s, 6 p.m. Read about his moving legacy.

“Lakebottom Prime” continues its Atlanta premiere. The play by gAy-TL’s own Topher Payne with his peeps at the gay-run Process company let you in on the prequel to Payne’s “Lakebottom Proper” @ Process Theatre, 8 p.m. Runs through May 17.

The Other Show offers the most unique drag cabaret in town with a singularly creative cast and special guests who always blast your expectations. She’s so unusual @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m.

Ladies Lounge. Get your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, scores of MSR ladies and the TraxxGirls promoters @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Boys Room. Nobody does gay in the ATL quite like the hip East Atlanta queers @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Fur pulls all the guys onto gay Atlanta’s hot man-on-man dance floor, this week with DJ Sean Mac @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Femme Fatale with Destiny Brooks and Justice Tyana Taylor puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Daring Divas lays it on thick. Lena Lust, Sawnna Brooks, Lateasha Shuntel, Chavon Scott and Niesha Dupree. The crowd goes wild @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

Men’s Night: Hardbody Contest draws all the suburban gays to the yard for sexy OTP fun. It’s also customer appreciation night @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 10 p.m.

Got Leche? weekly gay Latin night features stage shows, dancing and more @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Georgia Safe Schools Coalition Pre-race Kickoff Party gets runners and supporters of more LGBT-friendly schools psyched for a 5K with food, music, free beer and more fun @ Tudor Square, Avondale Estates, 4 p.m.

Weekend Blitz with State Rep. Simone Bell. Join one of Georgia’s three openly gay legislators canvassing in a tough race to keep her seat. Hold signs, greet constituents and help out @ intersection of I-75/I-85 at University Blvd., 11 a.m. See Sunday’s event in Midtown too. Here’s what she’s up against.

Flag Football Friends & Family BBQ brings the gay teams of National Flag Football League of Atlanta together for games and fun, this week with all of their loved ones @ Boulevard Crossing Park, 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Festivities include the annual Punt Pass & Kick competition.

Mr. HSL Pageant. The gay jocks of Hotlanta Softball League show their stuff for a crown, for tips and for your applause. The guys get sexy to entertain you at this popular annual event @ Jungle, 5 p.m. Two words and tons of photos: It's hot.

Frisky Monkey plays a set of new tunes and old favorites. Join this gay duo for some melodic love @ Smith’s Olde Bar, 8 p.m.

Jockstrap Sister Twister. Do get it twisted. Things are going to get dirty when the Atlanta Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence host some good sexy fun with prizes and more to benefit the group’s charity fund @ Atlanta Eagle, 9 p.m.

Fever with DJ Chris Griswold. The former Atlantan returns to pump the beats into this party. Go-go guys, a birthday boy, and a performances by Buff Faye @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

DJ Susan Morabito Double Play. The gay DJ gets the party started with sick beats @ Jungle, 10 p.m., then she gets a Second Wind so you can go all night @ Xion, 3 a.m. You can get started even earlier with Ruby’s Redd Light District: So Fetch Edition @ Jungle, 9 p.m.

Gurlfrandz: Country Queens “puts the Kunt in Kuntry Kahween Realness,” according to the off-center Gurlfrandz queens who are always getting drag twisted. This time, it’s Reba, Tanya, Dolly (speaking of, omg!) and one big gingham petticoat hayride mess @ Mary’s, 11 p.m.

Cinco de Mayo with Maria Gabriella Band. The lesbian-fronted rockers headline Atlanta’s favorite lesbian party night @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

GlitterGlam werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Genre and featuring Stasha Sanchez, Taejah Thomas, “RuPaul’s” Trinity Bonet, Lateasha Shuntel and one lucky amateur guest performer every week. DJ beats and more cute boys than you can handle @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

Synergy with Shawnna Brooks is the Saturday night show to rock your world @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

Midnight Madness drags out the dinner hour into party time with Angelica D’Paige @ 10th & Piedmont, 11 p.m.

Sinful Saturday includes the Divas Cabaret and all kinds of other bar night fun for our suburban gays outside the perimeter @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 10 p.m.

Georgia Safe Schools Coalition 5K puts runners and walkers on their mark for safer, mor inclusive schools in Georgia. Read set go @ Avondale Estates, 10 a.m.
