Friday, Jan. 31
“The Book of Mormon” (top photo) brings the touring company of the Broadway smash to Atlanta. The uproarious laughter and sing-song vibe you’re feeling are real, Tony-award real. Dive in with the creators of “Southpark” and “Avenue Q” @ Fox Theatre, 8 p.m. Runs through Feb. 9.

Rock N Roll Circus presents a night of five amazing bands as well as sideshows and burlesque. And it wouldn’t be local rock without a set by LGBT-ATL’s own The Sexual Side Effects (second photo). Rock out @ Star Bar, 9 p.m.

“In Love and Warcraft” opens with the story of a lovelorn girl who is a great matchmaker for everyone but her. Internet Age dramedy ensues with her gay and straight classmate clients and their BFs and GFs @ Alliance Theater, 8 p.m. Runs through Feb. 23.

“The Book Club Play” returns for an encore run of last fall’s popular gay-inclusive play @ Horizon Theatre, 8 p.m. Runs through Feb. 23.

The Other Show: Magical World of Disney spills its first theme night of the year all over drag with a one-of-a-kind cast and special guests (third photo). It’s sure to be epic @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m. Show up early for a different flick each week and a great dinner and drinks menu. This week, it's Dinner & A Movie: Lilo & Stitch, 7:30 p.m. You can even stick around for the straight-inclusive Fetish Utopia Atlanta.

Michelle Malone CD Release Party: Unplugged brings the lesbian blues rocker home to her girls with a special show that includes acoustic renditions of songs by the Banned and off of “Acoustic Winter.” Ladies with an attitude @ Red Light Café, 8 p.m.

DJ Stan Jackson Birthday Bash features guest DJ David Knapp, a special performance by drag diva Motion, and all the men (fourth photo) who rub up against each other on the dance floor @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

“Six Degrees of Separation” opens its revival of the classic chaotic comedy about a conman, his not-so-lovable victims and one big gay unraveling. Gay Atlanta’s own Freddie Ashley directs @ Actor’s Express, 8 p.m. Runs through Feb. 9.

Charlie’s Angels drags up Midtown’s go-to bar. Join gay porn sexpert Charlie Harding and a cast including Shawnna, Chavon, Niesha, Lateasha and legendary Lena @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

Swank (fifth photo) is the monthly women’s jam at the hotspot on the corner of Gay and Lesbian. Ladies fandango with VJ beats and tons of surprises @ 10th & Piedmont, 10 p.m.

Femme Fatale with Destiny Brooks and Justice Taylor puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Ladies Lounge: Cabin Fever gets your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party and scores of ladies with the TraxxGirls promoters @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Got Leche? weekly gay Latin night features stage shows, dancing and more @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. 

Men’s Night: Hardbody Contest draws all the suburban gays to the yard for sexy OTP fun. It’s also customer appreciation night @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 10 p.m.


Saturday, Feb. 1
Lost N Found Thrift Grand Opening officially welcomes you to the drop-in center and store (sixth photo) that benefits gay Atlanta’s favorite charity every day. Get great deals, refreshments, entertainment and more. It all benefits the homeless gay teens of Atlanta’s Lost N Found Youth @ Lost N Found Thrift & Consignment, 6 p.m. View LNF House cleanup photos, and take a virtual tour. Don’t miss our preview of the store. And yes, girl! The event includes the hotly anticipated “Gods & Monsters” Art Show by Philip Bonneau paired with “Legendary Children” photos by Blane Bussey.

Art Papers Auction. The 15th annual event features works by a gay-inclusive list of more than 250 new and emerging artists. All ilk of LGBTs, from artqueers to businessmen and drag queens, love a big fat event @ Mason Murer, 7 p.m.

Atlanta Jewish Film Festival: “Cupcakes” (seventh photo) screens as one of the LGBT-themed films this year. This one is by Out on Film favorite gay director Etyan Fox @ Tara, 9:45 p.m.

Jockstrap Sister Twister. Do get it twisted. Things are going to get dirty when the Atlanta Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence host some good sexy fun with prizes and more to benefit the group’s charity fund @ Atlanta Eagle, 9 p.m.

Early Country & Late Night Dance offers line dancing and two stepping after the sun goes down, then DJ Mike Pope picks up the pace until close @ Heretic, 8 p.m. and 12 midnight.

Synergy with Shawnna Brooks is the Saturday night show to rock your world @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

Lindsey Hinkle (eighth photo) rocks a solo set for the women who love women who love girls with guitars. Dance all night, too @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Gurlfrandz: Filth Edition dirties up this edition of the off-center drag show that puts East Atlanta on the drag map briefly each month. Get in on it @ Mary’s, 11 p.m

DragXotic werqs Saturday night with a drag show headed by Nicole Luv Dupree. Go earlier for more cute boys than you can handle @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

Midnight Madness drags out the dinner hour into party time with Angelica D’Paige @ 10th & Piedmont, 11 p.m.

Locker Room: Workout with DJ Alex Acosta gives you a beat to shake that ass to. Your sports and workout gear, especially jock straps, are encouraged (ninth photo). Dance, queen, dance @ Jungle, 10 p.m. Come early for dinner, drinks and the diverse cast and special guests of Ruby’s Redd Light District: Disco! Beep Beep in the Jungle Room, 9 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 2
Super Bowl Tailgate Party (bottom photo) welcomes all the gay football studs, commercial-watching queens and Bruno Mars-loving halftime dudes to the big game. Super Bowl menu and other specials @ Ten, 3 p.m. It includes the year’s first gay flag football signup party with the NFFLA. Check out Ten’s boy buffet in last weekend’s pics.

Women’s Super Bowl Sunday. Hook up with the ladies who love football at this blowout event with full kitchen, full bar and specials for a girl gridiron party @ My Sister’s Room, 2 p.m.

Atlanta Bucks Pre-Super Bowl Beer Bust & Chili Cookoff. Hang with the burly hotties of Atlanta’s gay rugby squad as they gobble up tasty treats, bottomless beer, shot specials and games before the big TV event @ Hideaway, 1 p.m.
