It’s here. You’re queer. Come out to it. The LGBT events for Atlanta Pride Weekend are vast and varied, with a little something for every taste and a lot of somethings to put the gay in your days.

Friday, Oct. 13

Atlanta Pride Kickoff. The sold-out cocktail and dance party for 4,000 of your closest friends starts off the official Atlanta Pride event schedule @ Georgia Aquarium, 7 p.m.

CocktoBEARfest Weekend gets going with the guys of Tennesee’s premier gay campground @ Timberfell Lodge, all weekend. Click to make plans for Halloween Monster Bash Weekend as well.

Pride Yoga. Get loose before the weekend to benefit Lost N Found Youth @ Exhale Spa, 5:45 p.m.

Woofs Pride. The gay sports bar does it up @ Woofs, 7 p.m.

Invisible No More. Police violence against black women is on the table with the lesbian stalwarts @ Charis Books & More, 7:30 p.m.

The Other Pride Show. Come to the unique weekly drag cabaret with an eclectic cast and special guests that always pack a surprise @ Jungle, 9 p.m.

Heaven. The annual Pride women’s party goes down with DJs Tracy Young and FreeCity @ Park Tavern, 9 p.m.

Latin Discoteca Pride. Hang with the cool kids in East Atlanta, tonight with DJs Brian Rojas and Esme, plus host Hydrangea Heath @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

DJ Shane Stiel launches a weekend-long man-on-man dance party package @ Heretic, 10 p.m. DJ Martin Fry spins @ Xion at Jungle, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m. Keep scrolling for Saturday at Jungle and Xion, plus Sunday at Opera and Xion.

Latino Pride Fiesta with porn star Arad Winwin, DJ Don Pollo, dancers, and a later closing time @ 1851 Corporate Blvd., 10 p.m. – 4 a.m.

Pride Kickoff with DJs Rob Moore and Eric gets the weekend going @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

RuPride with Aja.The Season 9 queen headlines. First the newest drag glamazons on display in Fresh Face Friday. Then get your singles ready for premiere queens in Femme Fatale with the special [email protected] Burkhart’s, 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Celestial Pride Friday. Celeste Holmes hosts the show “where the stars come out” and puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

Pride Lesbian Afterparty. Get your weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.


Saturday, Oct. 14

Atlanta Pride (top and middle photos). The annual celebration of you goes down @ Piedmont Park, all day. Amazing musical acts include Rita Ora and the Pointer Sisters. Officially sanctioned festivities include, but certainly aren’t limited to, the Names Project AIDS Quilt Display, Interactive Pride Culture Exhibit, Car & Motorcycle Show, Trans March, Dyke March, and the Queer Your Gender Dance Party.

Bottoms Up Drag Brunch. The Wussy crew is at it again, with performances, drink and food specials, and social hour @ Revelator Coffee Company, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Love Wins Step & Repeat. Come get snapped with the men of Atlanta’s gay sports bar @ Woofs, 1 p.m.

Pride #Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of the party as the sun drops @ Mary’s, 2:30 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during the bar’s regularly scheduled Pride shenanigans, 9 p.m.

Electric Circus. The official women’s dance party of Atlanta Pride goes down with a huge lineup of performers and DJs @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

80s New Wave Dance Party. Get in on all the back-in-the-day-hits just up the Beltline from the park @ Amsterdam, 10 p.m.

Peep Show. A queer cabaret of live music, drag, dance and burlesque for your Pride with the Wussy gang @ City Winery, 10:30 p.m.

DJ Joe Gauthreaux keeps a weekend-long dance party package going @ Jungle, 10:30 p.m. Keep scrolling for afterhours @ Xion at Jungle, plus Sunday @ Opera and Xion at Jungle.

Indivisible kicks Pride Saturday into high gear with DJs Pat Scott and Neon the Glowgobear @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Pride Startlets and Fever. The opening show is followed by the quintessential drag cast working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. 

Pride Glitz with Charlie Brown. The self-titled Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

Pride GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Edie Cheezburger, a cast of premiere queens and special guests @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

Pride Afterhours really gets cranking when the party moves to Cheshire Bridge Road with DJs Cosmo and Tracy Levine @ Tokyo Valentino, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.

DJ Paulo Pride Afterhours. The afterhours you love, the venue you already know. Never stop shaking your ass with DJ Karlitos @ Xion Jungle, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.


Sunday, Oct. 15

Atlanta Pride Parade (bottom photo). The weekend’s signature event rolls from Civic Center Station to Piedmont Park, down Peachtree and 10th Streets, 12 noon, with these grand marshals.

HRC Atlanta Pride Brunch. One of the best views of the parade and A-listyest crowds comes together again this year @ Empire State South, 10:30 a.m.

Atlanta Pride. Directly following the parade, follow the crowd into Piedmont Park, where you’ll find such attractions as Ty Herndon in concert, a NOH8 Photo Shoot, a Youth Variety Show, and the amazing Starlight Cabaret to close out the event in style.

Pride Sporty Sunday Funday. It’s as if the Falcons and Atlanta United play for the gays on the screens with the sports fans @ Woofs, 12 noon.

Pride Sunday. First it’s High Energy DJ beats, 1 p.m., the parade, then the legendary Sunday funday @ Blake's, 8:30 p.m.

Pride Sunday Tea. The weekly tradition of dudes, DJs and drinks continues, only this time with inside-outside Pride and a perfect parade view @ Ten, all day.

Sanctuary. DJ Tracy Levine closes out the Pride lineup with a special Sunday set @ Atlanta Eagle, 9 p.m.

Bear Invasion. The party never stops with DJ Stan Jackson and the Pride edition of this popular dance party @ Heretic, 9 p.m.

DJ Tony Moran. The circuit legend does what he do, to you @ Opera, 9 p.m.

DJ Alyson Calagna Pride Afterhours. The afterhours you love, the venue you already know. Never stop shaking your ass with DJ Karlitos @ Xion Jungle, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.
