Atlanta Pride. It’s that time, kids! Slap on your face and pull on something cute, because the LGBT Pride train is on the move. The Official Kickoff Party (top photo) is sold out to 5,000 of your closest friends @ Georgia Aquarium, 7 p.m. But that’s just he beginning of official events.
Atlanta Pride Kickoff Afterparty DJ Chris Cox. The better half of the Thunderpuss duo hits the disc decks to move your ass to Pride beats into the wee hours @ Jungle, 9 p.m.
Atlanta Pride Women’s Kickoff Afterparty with Lea DeLaria. The gay comic and “Orange is the New Black’s” “Big Boo” plays host to the biggest lesbian Pride party in town, and it lasts all weekend. Four DJs, dancers, and extra space inside, outside, all over your face @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m. And that’s all before she takes the Pride stage on Sunday.
Heaven Women’s Pride Party. Get out your angels wings for the sexy annual lesbian party welcoming Pride. DJs, Go-go girls, aerial performances, Sexiest Angel costume and more women than you can handle @ Park Tavern, 9 p.m.
Pride Friday with DJ Dani Toro. This visiting hunk of a spinmaster rocks out with your… You will have fun at this man-on-man dance party including an opening set with DJ Mike Pope @ Heretic, 9 p.m.
Pride Friday with DJ Daryl Cox kicks it on the corner of gay and gayer to get your Pride started right @ Ten Atlanta, all night.
Fruit Salad is the left-of-center Pride you richly deserve, so bend over and take it with DJ Vicki Powell @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

“Simply Barbra.” A night with Barbra Streisand that you'll never forget, only she's played by actor-singer Steve Brinberg in this one-man show that nails her look and voice @ Actor's Express, 8 p.m. Saturday show as well.
“The Doctor, The Devil and My Dad” opens this fantastical story about a woman’s visions of her Muslim father juxtaposed with a convincingly Tenant-esque Doctor Who and Satan himself. Gay Atlanta’s own Topher Payne is part of the cast @ 7 Stages, 8 p.m. Runs through Oct. 26.
Cirque du Soleil: Amaluna continues @ Fox Theatre, 7:30 p.m. Runs through Nov. 16

Pride Saturday Night with DJ Manny Lehman. Get into the groove at what will be one of the biggest parties of Pride Weekend. The shirtless ocean of bodies will be augmented by the legendary beats and special performances @ Jungle. 9 p.m.

Atlanta Pride continues in Piedmont Park with all the community booths, vendors and hot shirtless jocks you may require. The HRC Atlanta Pride Brunch @ Empire State South, 11:30 a.m., offers prime viewing of the spectacular annual Atlanta Pride Parade (bottom photo) down Peachtree and 10th Streets from Civic Center to the park, 1 p.m. It includes 17 grand marshals. After that, work yourself up with park performances like honorary Grand Marshal Lea Delaria, 6:55 p.m., and the annual Starlight Cabaret, 7:25 p.m.
Official Atlanta Pride Closing Party with Rosabel. Walk from the park to catch the duo magic of DJs Ralphi Rosario and Abel. Rosabel brings your Pride in for a landing after Martn Fry’s opening set @ Opera, 9 p.m.
