Bears, beards, boys do Sunday Funday on ice

Bears, otters and guys with beards took over a Midtown ice skating rink to do Sunday Funday on ice. With cocktails, of course.

The holiday celebration – the 3rd Annual Beards, Bears & Otters on Ice – is the creation of popular (and often shirtless) DJ Chris Griswold, who ditched gay Atlanta for San Francisco. But Griswold returned on Sunday for the fun at the Southwest Rink at Park Tavern.

He launched the event in 2012 and it's been a hit ever since.

Organizers also collected Legos to donate to Hope Laugh Play, which helps children facing health challenges and disabilities.
