Bears, beards and otters man up Midtown rink

The Sochi Olympics could use a gay injection like this. Bears, otters and boys with beards taking over an ice rink in Atlanta and dousing it in gay fabulousness for a night.

It unfolded Sunday at the Southwest Air rink at Park Tavern, the second time popular (and sexy) DJ Chris Griswold invited his hirsute friends to lace up their skates and channel their inner Brian Boitano in public. Last year proved so popular that Griswold pulled together plans for the 2nd Annual Beards, Bears and Otters on Ice. This year the event also collected toys and donations for Little Bricks of Hope, which supplies Legos to hospitalized children.
