imageEach February, even Atlantans who don’t wax over heart-shaped thoughts of Valentine’s Day do pore over the annual hotties on Creative Loafing’s gay-inclusive Lust List. This year, Fenuxe makes the concept even gayer, and you can play a part in the contests from both publications.

We went gaga when DJay McCracken (photo) made Creative Loafing’s dirty dozen pieces of eye candy in 2010. He may have been the token gay, but we enjoyed checking out all the other sexy service industry lads and lassies, too.

The Loaf also compiles their past Lust Lists online, so it’s easy to check out gay and lesbian hotties and bodies like Andrew in 2009, Josh in 2008, Kristen in 2007 and Troy in 2006. The popularity of our own Morning Fix of flesh tells us you guys will click through to check them out.

Now’s your chance to make sure the LGBT factor stays in Creative Loafing’s mix this year. Go nominate your choices for the city’s hottest service-industry workers for this year’s Valentine issue.

Is the object of your desire serving up cappuccinos at the local coffee shop? Folding shirts at the mall? Manning the info desk at the book store? Remember, we’re not looking for folks who are already well-known (such as lead singers for popular bands), who earn their livings from their looks (such as models and pretty much anyone on TV) or who have jobs that insulate them from the general public (such as CEOs or computer programmers).

What we are looking for are workaday people who may have mixed your last drink, fixed your car, delivered your mail or punched your ticket (no double-entendre intended) — in other words, someone we might meet while running errands or having dinner.

Keeping it all gay, all the time, Fenuxe introduces its Best Bachelors 2011 next month, and you can help your favorite single guy make the cut. The nomination form is online now, and they are accepting entries through Jan. 19. The best part: Only gay and single nominees are accepted, so the final huddle of hunks will be actually on the market, not just available for ogling. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Know someone single, gay, and 21 or over who lives in Atlanta? Are you surprised they’re still single? Nominate them NOW for Fenuxe’s Best Bachelors of Atlanta!
