The Victory Fund celebrated its LGBTQ supporters, candidates and elected officials at a happy hour event in Midtown on Thursday.
LGBTQ elected officials in attendance at the event at Einstein's included state Rep. Sam Park, Atlanta City Councilmember Antonio Brown and Doraville City Councilmember Stephe Koontz. Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore — an ally — was also at the event.
LGBTQ candidates spotted at the event included former Doraville City Councilmember Joseph Geierman (who’s running for Doraville mayor), Kim Jackson (for state Senate District 41), former state Sen. Curt Thompson (for Gwinnett Commission Chair) and Marvin Lim (for state House District 99)
