Bestest DJ and Toy Party music mistress Vicki Powell is back, returning to her DJ pulpit at Sister Louisa’s Church on Sunday to welcome warmer weather and restart her Second Sunday Service.
The night always skews fun, whether it’s a double-header goodbye for mayoral troublemaker (and part-time DJ) Kyle Keyser or a celebration of life. Powell’s (top photo second from right) season opener also included drop-ins by a handful of drag queens. This time, though, Violet Chachki (top photo right) wasn’t wearing Sharon Needles’ missing crown.
And no cell phones were harmed in the making of this nightlife service.
