It’s not often that a pro jock—especially one from a storied family—goes shirtless in a commercial pitch.
So it was with great interest when we caught the new TV spot for Gillette Fusion Razors over the weekend featuring Marco Andretti, the IndyCar star and grandson of the racing legend. To be honest, what caught our attention was a toned torso in a towel. Then we clued in that it’s Andretti, the 22-year-old scion of the racing family.
The Gillette ad is the latest in a series of spots for the company that makes use of jocks with big names and good looks. Remember the campaign with Tiger Woods, Roger Federer and Thierry Henry? The company’s certainly providing us with “the best a man can get.”
In the TV spot, Andretti brags that, “When I’m at my best, I win at every level.” So do we.
