TJ Maxxx outlasted 10 other contestants to nab the Misc Edgewood crown, a cool $2,000 cash prize and a bundle of other prizes.
The contest’s finale went down at the queer-owned Noni’s on Sunday. Maxxx joined Cola Fizz, Dotte Comm and Video Tronic as the four finalists.
Host Brigitte Bidet was joined by judges Chyna White, Mo’Dest Volgare, Celeste Holmes and Corian Ellisor. Lola Bundy served as technical director of the show.
In addition to the cash prize, Maxx wins a feature in alternative publication the Mainline, a food and drink tour of Edgewood Avenue and paid gigs at the Wild Out Wednesday show at Noni's and at the Queer AF show at My Sister’s Room.
