Before there was Joining Hearts on Saturday, the guys who cocktail pre-partied to warm up and tease the skimpy poolside outfits to come. With a lifeguard theme and just steps away from the main event, it was a perfect fit.
And Brian Yancey proved again that not only can he rally the gays to help swat down anti-gay proposals at the State Capitol, he knows how to throw a house party. With lifeguard-themed bandanas and a handful of sexy lifeguards in bright red Speedos, he hosted his fourth annual Joining Hearts pre-party in Ansley Park. Hundreds limbered up with libations before making it across Piedmont Avenue and the massive party that unfolded at the pool.
The event complemented a big Joining Hearts weekend that included an opening party at Heretic, a closing party at Jungle, a double-play of Xion and making Instagram even gayer and hotter.
