Never underestimate the power of friends in high places. The adage was in full play when gay Atlanta DJ Pat Scott threw a rowdy Atlanta Eagle bash and electronic duo the Crystal Method showed up.
The musical synth keyboard pair gave the ‘90s some of its first electronica hits and continues to create dance floor tracks that land in movie soundtracks, on TV and even in video games. The duo dropped by the Eagle on Saturday to give Scott’s birthday party a musical present.
With Scott himself in the DJ booth, it was a great way to start another year for him and a great way to celebrate the weekend for everybody else.
