Gay Atlanta guy Jordan McAuley appreciates what there is of Atlanta’s natural beauty. How can you tell? He can see much of it from the balcony of his upscale Peachtree Street condo.

McAuley, publisher of pop culture site Atlanta Boy, has lived in New York City, Miami and Los Angeles. But he’s back in the ATL and opening the doors to his “mix of modern and natural style” condo for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Private Quarters.

He likens his interior design style to echo-chic with an equestrian theme. That means leather kitchen bar stools that look like saddles – saddle up, gay cowboy! – a tree stump table, landscape painting and laser cut cardboard deer heads over his bed.

“The challenge of my place and all of these modern places is making it cozy. The texture and shapes really help,” McAuley says.

Deer heads. Certainly something to tell your friends about after a trick through McAuley’s boudoir. But at least his bedroom doesn’t need a shot of design Viagra like these two gays in Buckhead.
