Turns out there actually are some do-overs in life. When it comes to prom the way you would have wanted it, Wussy knows how to throw a makeup event of very queer proportions.
The online mag "for Southern queers" and its left-of-center sisters at Legendary Children threw the Forever Hung Queer Prom on Saturday at Heretic. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” queen Laganga Estranja, Dynisty St. James and DJ King Atlas entertained as partiers served their best cheerleader, jock, nerd, band geek, pothead, goth or even janitor and lunch lady looks. Others just queered up their version of their best high school selves.
The night also served as Wussy’s official launch party, though it’s already making waves and giving voice to some local LGBT organizers.
