Parties and patios get sprung in Q’s Spring Preview

Q catches queer Atlanta adding to its LGBTQ landscape once again this week, and is it just me, or are we doing it with an extra spring in our step these days?

You can tell by the groundbreaking florals on Atlanta streets and on our cover that a new season is upon us. We take the cue and run with it for this year’s Q Spring Preview.

We highlight a dozen of our favorite patio places to visit during prime time to enjoy the outdoors, and we lay out the big events between now and Memorial Day that are sure to keep you hopping well past Easter.

Spring in your step? Hopping past Easter? Yeah… I'm giddy with the sunshine too, I guess.

Another fresh queer spring development is WERUradio, the Atlanta-based station dedicated to urban music for LGBTQ listeners. We check in with the founder about this first-of-its-kind project putting a queer spin on Hip Hop and R&B.

Meanwhile, Heather Maloney is talking gender essentialism and upping your cache of five-dollar vocabulary words in the process. Also popping are our weekly doses of Q Shots photos, Queer Agenda calendar and The Q advice, as well as fresh daily content right here on our homesite Project Q Atlanta.
