Q jumps into summer events starting with epic Stonewall Month

June always means LGBTQ sun and fun, but in 2019 at the half-century mark of the modern LGBTQ movement, Atlanta supersizes Stonewall Month to kick off its long, long slate of summer events. This issue of Q is here for all the mile markers and milestones.

Our Summer Preview issue offers your definitive guide to local queer events through Labor Day even as we continue to document ever-more LGBTQ-ATLiens making queer strides 50 years after Stonewall. We also contine to map the roads that the equality movement still needs to travel.

Travelling literal roads is also part of this issue. Far from the maddening stresses of home, we take you on road trips across the Southeast to some of the queer-friendliest vacaction destinations. Figurative roads still untraveled include all the latest news on our homesite here at Project Q.

In happier coverage, up-and-coming queer Atlanta artist and musician Royce Hall finds himself as the latest subject to smile for the Q camera and open up in one of our personality profiles. We also make pitstops in a queer bedroom for the weekly advice column, this week's LGBTQ events in the Queer Agenda calendar, at multiple recent events for photos in Q Shots, and so much more.

It's plenty to keep you busy, but when you're done, find even more fresh content every day here at theQatl.com.
