Few birthdays get as much attention in gay Atlanta as Madonna, and few bashes are as popular as the annual party for it at Mary’s. Friday’s Madonna-Rama was no exception.
As her Madge-esty turned 55, the costumes, t-shirts and other memorabilia hit the East Atlanta gay bar in force. And the music and videos from Madonna’s three-decade career came courtesy DJ Diablo Rojo.
This year, the evening included the Glitz queens serving their off-center interpretations of the gay icon and her influence on pop culture.
