It was Southern Sole Bootblack Weekend at the Atlanta Eagle, and the popular Ponce de Leon Avenue club was ready for it.
Organizers billed it as “a weekend of education by bootblacks for bootblacks.” Classes took place during the day, and the bootblacks looked to party at night.
