Never mind the rain. Never mind that the games were cancelled. These are softball jocks and they won't let anything stand in the way of a festive beer bust.
So the Atlanta Titans of the Southern Softpaw League hosted the cocktailing fun – yes for the Jell-O shots! – on Saturday at Burkhart's. The league's games, played this season at Southside Park in southeast Atlanta, were dumped for the day thanks to the unrelenting rain.
But these are the Titans. So they partied on.
Games resume on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The season continues until Nov. 7.
