Another month, another set of low-hanging fruit. No, not the tea-bagging variety, but the kind that gay Atlanta's own Grant Henry picks on the regular for his Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium.

Collecting accolades seem all in a day’s work for Henry (photo, second from right). That, and packing the place to the rafters. This time, real estate site Movoto gives “Church” its No. 1 slot in the 15 Best Bars in Georgia.

1. Gather And Worship At Sister Louisa’s Church In Atlanta

Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium isn’t exactly everyone’s cup of tea with all of the religious satire everywhere, but it’s definitely everyone’s cup of beer.

Upstairs has a living room feel, while downstairs is pure dive (in a glorious way). There’s no better place for people-watching, ping pong while dressed in a choir robe, and singing to a church organ while sipping PBR.

Chalk up the honor as the latest in an epic choir of Church praise. Already in 2015, the bar was named one of the Coolest Businesses in America. Last year, it was among the Best Bars in Atlanta, not once but twice, and was honored as the Coolest Kitsch Bar in the World.

Not bad for the little gay gadabout who could. Or as Henry himself put it, “Well fuck a duck.”
